“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”
Brené Brown

I understand how important it is to find the right counsellor. Building trust and feeling understood will help you feel safe to share the most vulnerable parts of yourself.

I offer a free 20-minute Zoom to give you a sense of how I work and to answer any questions you may have.

Why Have Therapy?

Juggling what life demands from us can be overwhelming. You may be struggling to cope and feel anxious, depressed, and stuck. Perhaps something particularly unsettling has happened, such as a health diagnosis, bereavement or relationship breakdown. Maybe an unresolved issue from your past or concerns for your future are interfering with your daily life in the present. I understand that reaching out for support can feel scary, but it is also a brave first step towards healing.

Working with Me

Your wellbeing is at the heart of my therapeutic approach, creating a confidential environment where you feel safe to share all aspects of yourself without fear of judgement. I believe the relationship that we build with trust and mutual respect, enables you to unburden and gain a better understanding of yourself and others. Leaning-in to difficult feelings can be painful, but also healing, bringing about the change required for you to live the life you want. As an integrative therapist, we can explore your past and present experiences that may be holding you back or eroding your self-esteem. Helping you move towards acceptance, compassion and belief in yourself.

I work in a gentle and encouraging way at your pace. I will help you navigate your emotional world and encourage you to acknowledge and celebrate your successes.

Qualifications and Experience

I have a degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling which means my therapeutic approach is tailored specifically for you and your circumstances. Integrative therapy can help with a range of short and long-term issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, bereavement and low self-esteem.

I have experience of working as a counsellor in a GP surgery and for a community counselling service.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) the leading professional body for counselling and work in accordance with its ethical guidelines.
